About Hillside Community Church
Who we are
Hillside started in 1987 as a Bible study in a living room on Hillside Avenue. Thirty-odd years later we are still trying to do the same thing: help people know Jesus and follow him together, in a way that changes the neighbourhood we live in.
We are part of a wider family of churches, we baptise believers, we take communion every month, and we would rather be known for what we are for than what we are against.
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

What a Sunday looks like
Services run about 75 minutes. There is coffee in the lobby from half an hour before, the music is a mix of old and new, and the teaching walks through a book of the Bible a few verses at a time. Kids have their own thing during both services; students join the main service and meet midweek.
Parking
Use the north lot off Hillside Avenue. The spaces nearest the door are kept for first-time guests and anyone who needs them.
