By accessing or using Ministry Planner (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
"Services" includes the website at ministryplanner.church, the Ministry OS mobile application, church websites hosted through our platform, and all related products, features, and services provided by Jethro Software, LLC.
2. Who We Are
Jethro Software, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company doing business as Ministry Planner.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on Ministry Planner. The platform may process data about minors (for example, through children's check-in features) solely on behalf of a church and under the church's authority. Minors do not interact with the platform directly.
4. Account Registration & Security
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Multi-factor authentication is available and strongly recommended. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@ministryplanner.church if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
5. Subscription Plans & Billing
We offer tiered subscription plans ( Plant, Grow, and Multiply). Current pricing is listed on our website and may change with prior notice.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. They auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing date.
You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods.
We accept major credit and debit cards and ACH bank transfers.
6. Online Giving (Stripe Connect)
Churches that enable online giving do so through Stripe Connect. Ministry Planner is not the merchant of record for donations. Funds flow directly from the donor to the church's own Stripe account.
Ministry Planner facilitates the technical integration but does not hold, pool, or control donated funds at any point.
Ministry Planner collects a platform fee (a percentage of each transaction) as disclosed during onboarding.
Churches are solely responsible for: issuing donation receipts, complying with IRS rules for tax-deductible contributions, and managing their connected Stripe account.
Donors should direct giving-related inquiries to their church, not to Ministry Planner.
7. Church Website Hosting
Churches may use our website builder to create and host a public website. Content is created and controlled entirely by the church.
We do not review, approve, or monitor church website content. Churches are solely responsible for ensuring their published content complies with applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
8. Your Data & Content
You retain all ownership of the data and content you upload to Ministry Planner.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, back up, and display your content solely to provide the Services.
We do not claim ownership of your church data, sermon plans, volunteer information, or any other content you create in the platform.
Upon account termination, we retain your data for 90 days to allow reactivation, then schedule it for deletion. You may request immediate export or deletion by contacting us at hello@ministryplanner.church.
9. AI Features
The "Ask Jethro" AI assistant and document import features are powered by Anthropic's Claude API.
When you use AI features, your prompts and relevant context are sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic does not use this data to train models.
AI-generated content is provided as-is and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated output before relying on it.
We may use AI to improve the Services, but we will not use your church data to train AI models.
